Speakers Patricia Robertson, Ben Lynch and Deborah Horowitz (Fountain Court Chambers) will explain the ways in which COVID-19 will have widespread ramifications in the context of the legal principles relating to force majeure and the doctrine of frustration, for contracting parties in the UK and across the globe. The presentations consider those principles and address their impact as regards the international trade, food, construction, trade finance, banking, airline, pharmaceuticals, energy and insurance industries.
