Brighter Future

We are looking for an experienced and committed Lawyer to deal with and provide support to Senior Lawyers on a range of matters including:

  • Redevelopment/regeneration projects
  • CPOs
  • Asset disposal programmes
  • Infrastructure
  • Landlord & Tenant
  • Housing
  • Reports on title
  • General advice on Corporate Landlord matters

The successful Candidate will be working as part of the Commercial Projects and Property Team which is a busy and supportive team.  Candidates will report directly to the Commercial Property Team Manager.

Candidates will have excellent communication skills, be able to work under pressure and to prioritise their workload to meet tight deadlines. They will have the ability to work collaboratively with project teams and client departments to ensure good client relations. They will be skilled at drafting legal documentation, providing concise and clear advice, negotiating and carrying out legal research and analysis. They may be asked to take on challenges not currently within their field of expertise, and to provide training to clients and stakeholders from time to time.

Experience gained in a Local Authority setting would assist as would an understanding of local government and administrative law, and an appreciation of the challenges facing local authorities.
