Lawyer – Enforcement and Regulation

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic and able lawyer to join the in-house legal team at Warrington Borough Council.
Based within Legal Services as part of the Corporate team, you will carry a caseload of matters in a range of areas across the Council teams including at least two of the following areas; Town & Country Planning, Highways/Traffic, Licensing, Regulatory, Information Governance and Civil Law proceedings.
You will have incisive analytical skills, accurate drafting, a developed level of interpersonal skills and the ability to facilitate resolution of conflict. You will demonstrate the ability to research legal points and form an opinion, which is both decisive and professional on the varied and complex information available. You will need excellent communication skills, team skills and the ability to interpret legislation in a common sense and practical manner, having due regard to the Council’s legal responsibilities.
