Trafford legal services provide a range of advice services to Council and other clients and we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised Practice Manager to support the effective and efficient operation of the service.

The person will facilitate the day to day operation of the legal service, supervising support staff, developing and implementing office initiatives and assuring that the office remains compliant with all relevant regulations.

The post holder will manage the IKEN case management system and report case activity to enable managers to ensure the efficient delivery of service.

The post holder is responsible for the management of the land charges service.

The main duties of the post holder are to:
1. Provide support functions across Legal Services.
2. Develop effective business processes
3. Develop Quality Assurance processes to achieve and maintain external accreditation.
4. Lead and be accountable for specific business enhancing/ improving projects
5. Prepare regular management information.
6. Assist in the development and implementation of policies within the office.
7. Manage and maintain the IKEN case management system, attend User Group meetings and provide feedback to the Supplier and the Team on any changes and/or upgrades
8. Manage, review and develop information and record systems
9. Manage the land charges manager and ensure the land charges function is delivered effectively.
10. Assist in the management of the service budget.

The post holder will have a track record of managing support services to a professional team and will have examples of innovation to improve services.
