An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a friendly, proactive and busy team of lawyers in the Rochdale Legal Services based in the iconic award winning Number One Riverside offices.

Rochdale Council is looking to appoint an outstanding Practice Manager who is capable of working to tight deadlines with minimal supervision and able to act on their own initiative. The successful candidate will hold excellent organisation and outstanding communication skills. They will manage the day-to-day office operations and provide support to our senior leadership team. Some of the tasks will include managing the administration team, processing invoices, administering policies and procedures across the service, supporting projects including working towards the Lexcel accreditation.

They will also be the first point of contact when implementing IT systems and building and administering a case management system. The candidate will also work with senior leadership in managing resources and budgets and contribute the business planning processes setting and monitoring targets.

The ideal candidate must be motivated and enthusiastic and be a pro-active team player who is able to work as part of a busy team; can react positively to changing priorities and is willing to embrace new technology and ways of working as well as possessing good interpersonal skills.

Local authority experience is preferable however Rochdale Council will consider private practice and public sector candidates.
