We are looking for an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to join our busy Litigation team.  The litigation team deals with Civil, Criminal, Licensing and Employment Litigation

You will be dealing with civil and criminal litigation from initial instruction through to the advocacy at Court.  You will mainly deal with instructions from the Council’s private sector housing team in relation to anti-social behaviour, imposition and enforcement of financial charges, Injunctions and housing standards enforcement pursuant to the Housing Act 2004.  You must have the ability and willingness to assist on other areas covered by the team.  It is essential that you have good interpersonal skills, are able to plan and organise your own workload with minimal supervision in a supportive environment and that you are able to work to tight court deadlines whilst fulfilling quality and service standards. You will be a strong team player, flexible, enthusiastic and committed.  If your strength lies in either civil or criminal litigation we will provide training in relation to the other.
