Two-year Fixed Term Contract, Permanent Full-time: 36 hours per week

Exciting and unique opportunity for a commercial contracts & projects solicitor to provide legal advice and support to the Council’s ambitious and transformative Growth Programme. You will be a qualified solicitor working either in private practice or in-house and have demonstrable experience of working on projects and understanding of the commercial contracts and procurement issues which arise within them. You will have the ability to identify and assess legal and procurement risk within a project and you will coordinate contract negotiation, finalisation and execution.

Sefton Council’s Corporate Legal Services is comprised of four legal teams with administrative support.  The Contracts and Employment Team provide legal services in relation to all commercial projects, contract and procurement issues, and employment law.
