Our next NWLC Practice Managers Group meeting will be on Tuesday 9 September, 11am – 2pm including lunch provided by our partner firm, Capsticks.

This meeting will be a hybrid format so you may join either in person or remotely. Liverpool City Council have very kindly offered to host the meeting. If you would like to join remotely please let me know when you reply and Liverpool City Council will send you joining instructions in a calendar invitation.

Emma Godding, Principal Associate at Capsticks LLP, who specialises in information law, will join us to provide an overview and roundtable discussion regarding some of the legal implications of using AI tools. This will include an explanation of the types of AI tools available and the way in which organisations are using them to improve their processes. Emma will focus on the legal risks/pitfalls associated with AI, and a checklist of practical steps to take in order to avoid them.

This will be followed by a general discussion.

This session will include a working lunch and an opportunity to catch up with other Practice Managers.
