The role is both challenging and rewarding and the successful candidate will join a busy and supportive team. We are looking for a qualified lawyer (solicitor, barrister or Cilex) who has sound knowledge in Adult Social Care law, can work well under pressure and has excellent organisational skills. An ability and willingness to transfer your legal skills, if required, to areas of the team’s work that are not currently within your expertise is essential.

Public sector experience is desirable, however, relevant experience gained from the private sector will also be considered. Day to day responsibilities include managing a full caseload and providing advice and support to the local authority, primarily on Adult Social Care.

The successful candidate will have good communication and presentation skills, customer care skills and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
