We are seeking a Lawyer to work within the Childcare Team (Legal Services). This role will provide legal and procedural advice and services in the most effective and efficient way to meet the requirements of the Council as a whole and specific Services and Departments.
You will be joining a professional and friendly team dealing predominantly with pre-proceedings work. The focus will be on timely delivery of all aspects of the PLO and President’s recommendations from the PLWG, from effective client advice, through to issuing proceedings where appropriate. This role will involve limited advocacy. Other elements of the position will be involvement in private law proceedings and discharge of care orders.
