This is a rare opportunity for a talented Lawyer to join the high performing, Lexcel accredited Legal Safeguarding team in Cheshire West and Chester.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, hardworking and able team player with a “can do attitude”.  A desire to be an intrinsic part of a successful team is essential. The post holder will be required  to provide high quality legal representation and skilled and effective advocacy on behalf of the Council in public law children`s proceedings in the Family Courts and to provide appropriate advice and assistance to enable the Council to deliver its’ statutory duties in in respect of children.

The role is offered on a full time, permanent basis. The salary range will be determined on experience of the successful candidate (please see Job Description and Person Specification).

The contractual work location for this role is listed above however you may be required to work from a range of work locations or sites within the Borough and may also be required to work from home, depending on the needs of the service.
