We are looking for an experienced General Local Government Solicitor to join our busy Legal Department. The legal department has a progressive outlook with a “can-do” approach. You will report directly to the Deputy Chief Legal Officer and will be expected to work to the highest level.
You will be dealing with all aspects of local government law. In particular you must have extensive knowledge and experience of drafting a wide range of documents including policies, procedures, dealing with ASB related litigation and general contract law advice. You must have the ability and willingness to assist on other areas covered by the team and attend Court.
