We are proud to be of service for the City of Preston with its key priorities of:  Your Council, Your City and Fairness for You.

In 2018, Preston was identified as the most improved UK City according to Pricewaterhouse Cooper Good Growth for Cities index, highlighting the great progress the City has made – and is still making – alongside partners in the City.

The Council is focused on achieving a sustainable budget while delivering its key priorities.  In particular, it has recently gathered increasing national attention for its focus on community wealth building, enhancing financial inclusion and supporting local businesses.  Against a background of austerity the Council has single-mindedly focused on building the local economy and providing quality services to residents.

Preston City Council is committed to maximising its resources, and is dedicated to coaching and developing our employees.  The Council is a family friendly employer, operating an excellent flexitime scheme to support a healthy work/life balance.
