The Council is focused on achieving a sustainable budget while delivering its key priorities.  In particular, it has recently gathered increasing national attention for its focus on community wealth building, enhancing financial inclusion and supporting local businesses.  Against a background of austerity and pandemic the Council has single-mindedly focused on supporting the local economy and providing quality services to residents.
