Temporary Lawyer (up to 12 months)

Salary/Grade Level 10 (£32,910 to £33,782), 36.25 hours

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Shared Legal Services team that provides advice to both South Ribble Borough Council and Chorley Borough Council due to the imminent departure of one of our lawyers on maternity leave.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Lawyer to join our legal team who is committed to the development of a positive, professional, forward looking and customer focused service.

You should be enthusiastic and confident with excellent communication skills. The post offers an exciting opportunity to both apply your expertise and develop your knowledge and skills in a number of areas including property law and contractual matters.

Local government experience is preferred.

You should have a flexible approach and be able to deliver in a busy and challenging environment.
